Whew! Speaking from my own experience as well as working with students, this topic is a big one. I have found that over the years, I can easily get caught up in trying to sing a song perfectly. Yes, it's important to work toward improvement in vocal technique, artistry, performance, etc and to be prepared for an audition, lesson, or performance.
