Voice Lessons with Renee:
Learn Vocal Technique and Artistry
How It Started
Hello and Welcome to Renee Montgomery Voice!
My name is Renee Montgomery. It's great to meet you. Thank you for taking time to visit Renee Montgomery Voice, located in Deltona, Florida. I am excited that you are here!
I have had a passion for singing since I was a little girl. By the age of seven, I knew that I wanted to sing professionally. Fast forward fourteen years and I earned my bachelor's degree in music from my dream school, Belmont University. From there, I continued my studies in voice and earned a master's degree in vocal performance from the University of Utah.
While I knew I had always wanted to sing professionally, I had not realized that I also had a passion for teaching voice. I had the opportunity to help a friend learn how to sing. What a blast for both of us! It was at that point I realized that I wanted to help more people learn how to sing. It is incredible to be part of a student's journey to watch them discover their capabilities with their voice and learn how to express themselves through singing. From there, I opened Soul Voice Studios, my voice teaching studio.
My approach to teaching is straightforward and fun. I really enjoy helping students develop their vocal ability and learn how to connect the technique to the emotion and heart of the music. After all, singing is a whole body experience: Voice, body, and soul. Students implement vocal technique, song interpretation, character interpretation, and learn performance skills that help deliver the emotion and story telling through song.
I encourage students to work on varied repertoire from classical, to musical theater, to commercial styles of singing. If you are interested in scheduling a 1/2 hour free voice lesson, please click on that button below. I will be in touch shortly!
Approach to Teaching Voice
My approach to teaching is straightforward and fun! You can learn how to :
-
Develop your vocal ability and technique using an established set of vocal exercises. As you gain vocal coordination and breath support coordination, you can advance through the higher levels of the vocal warm-up exercises.
-
Gain confidence in your singing voice. Confidence in your singing voice can be built through consistency in voice training. Voice lessons are a fun place to explore what your voice can do and allows for a safe space to expand your vocal abilities and technique.
-
Learn vocal artistry. Work on the essence of the song, vocal colors, styles, and connecting to the lyrics of a song to deliver a moving musical performance. I help voice clients focus on creating a varied vocal repertoire from classical, to musical theater, to commercial styles of singing.
